District 27-C1 Convention

Wow the first convention of the year is in the books. that means 1 down 10 more to go. had a wonderful time at the covention. had fun on friday nite at the Auction Shelly bought an afgan that is just great it is so soft. Te hospitality of the lions from that district is ust great. I mande some new friends in state lions organization. My presentation went well i was nervous at first but the nervs went away and the emotions enterd hope I do as good at the B1 Convention this Saturday.    Thank you Governor Rick for a great time it was an honor to be a part of you paradeof checks and an honor also to give the parade of checks results over 20,000 raisd for the camp and foundation way to go C1 you rock.

Deer Hunt at Wisconsin Lions Camp 2011

I always look forward to the annual Deer hunt at Lions camp once again it was a successful year for 2 of the 5 hunters who participated in the hunt again this year.

  This is a picture of Dave and his wife Lynn with the doe that Dave harvested this year way to go Dave.

 Below is Andy with the 3  deer he harvested in the closing hour of the one day event.  this guy has to be the luckiest hunter next to my son I know. he sure put me to work.

In closing i would like to thank Dale for all the time he puts in getting this day off and running.
You do a great job and I enjoy being the tracker gutter and what ever else needs to be done person.   I have enjoyed the last 7 events and am looking forward to year #8 in 2012.  A big thank you goes out to Whitetails unlimited for their major sponsorship of this day.

I hate the rain am sick of being stuck in the house am going crazy.  not that I am already there but maybe a little more than before. hope it clears up want to grill some turkey for supper.   If it is still raining i will grill anyway

Rain Rain wish it would not Rain

It's Friday and raining had to hurry and get the yard and garden work done before we got the rain don't get me wrong we need it but it could rain at night when we are sleeping and not doing anything other than dreaming about how the Brewers are going to bounce back and beat Colorado tonight. 
I am going to sit by the fire and listen to the game this evening I hope my beer is cold by then.
